The most ironic email ever...

So I got this spam, and the spam is supposed to be a pro-christian spam, the problem... the punch line is the most unchristian thing I've ever read:

It is said that 86% of Americans believe in God. Therefore I have a very hard time understanding why there is such a mess about having the 10 commandments on display or "In God We Trust" on our money and having God in the Pledge of Allegiance. Why don't we just tell the 14% to Sit Down and SHUT UP!!!

First of all the author of the email is very ignorant of what's going on or they would have known that the Pledge of Allegiance added "under god" in the 1950s...

I could go through an entire array of why their email is completely un-christian but let me just quote the bible that they supposedly read:

"When you pray, do not be lke the hypocrites! They love to stand up and pray in the houses of worship and on the street corners, so that everyone will see them. I assure you, they have already been paid in full. But when you pray, go to your room, close the door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what you do in private, will reward you." --Matthew 6:5-6

If and when you decide to be a hypocrite (see above) please, atleast get your facts right... READ the bible before yu try to hide behind it... because if you actually READ the bible you would realise that what you are saying is based on your own personal beliefs and desires and not those set upon us by God...

God is great Religion is evil.
